Reminded's of a SMD sub for some reason. to bad they don't make them anymore because i would buy one. I do like it but is it worth that amount? that's also a lot of power needed for it.

Gotta pay to play  I'd buy one if I could afford it. It's subs like these that make you not need 4-18's or 4-12's. 1-18 or 2-15's of these on proper power will do some serious damage. Have you looked at prices on DD 95z series? They are over 2g and now they have a z21 like 2500$ lol but for the people that can't run walls with tons of subs these are the subs needed to get loud and low.....motor force. And it's not always the weight that's what makes a motor have the force it's the grade of mag and I know sundown uses top grade. |

oh i paid to play. bought my exo and second 1400.1 at the same time. cost more Then that sub.
I'm not hating its just damn!
but we"ll see soon if its worth the price. i got yelled at for buying my sub instead of a few fi bls or 2 mesos. but like you said i can't run a wall or 4 12s... hell i could barely fit 1 15.
and i know weight isn't really.important. i just know how hard it was to load my sub.. another 30+lbs... nightmare! got to have at least triple baffle

The Zv4 on the site says it's 71lbs. I put it on my digital it was 80.6lbs they do that bc anything over 80lbs has to be shipped freight.

did you have help loading it? i didnt.. it sucked! but i wanna see how long one of those last on 5000w at 30hz free air! see what that rating is worth!

Man I've never had help with any loading my subs. You saw how big my box was with my Zv4 18 was....with sub and Amps mounted on box it was around 200+ lbs and awkward as fawk and I just wrapped my arms around it and lifted that bitch a lot higher than any trunk lol and I'm a master at loading and pulling out beefy ass subs....many times I've done it. My old 18 box I had a heavy duty 8" flared aero and it was double 3/4" birch all around plus I had resin inside box and then the whole inside of box was deadened and housed my 70lb Fi sp4 18 "4" coil sub. Then I had a team Fi hybrid sub that was about 85lbs

haha, i had to get in my back seat. put my back against the pass seats back and use my legs to push my box into place.
but loading the sub was even harder. i put the box in my back seat then tried to load... nope! so i took it out put the sub in.. then fought with a 80+lb sub And 90lb box to get into my back seat. running from side to side pushing pulling lifting and lugging. once it was in there then i had to flip it. had to hold the box with one hand.. pretty sure i broke my wrist. while slowly using my electric seat to move it forward. took 6 years for it to move! Then pushing.and pulling. all In all 3 hours from start to fin. i wanna redo my port and paint but Just the thought of it has put it on hold!

One of these ns's will take 5k rms no problem. There's already videos out of the saz5000 running on each ns no sweat. And the saz5000 does about 6500 true.

I've seen that much on my sub as well.
but i wanna hear one!
do you know if they fixed the issue with the 18s yet. i know they were having a problem with the baskets.

Yea issue was fixed after the very first run of x and Zv4 it was just a glue issue. It wasn't anything with baskets but the glue for the surrounds was failing.

Ur 15 is a 3" coil....thermally it wont take anywhere near what the NS is capable of taking. Dons get me wrong, a 3" coil can take some serious power....but these NS are in a league of their own. Just like DD 9915 and HDC4, B2 XC and TC LMS ultra, Tantric SHD, Team Fi and Team AA and SSA evils and some others.

oh i heard they were having trouble machining the basket. and I'm sure that sub could Take 8k daily. I was just saying mine is on 6k daily as we speak. been like that for 3/4weeks now. i hope it can take more... i mean its $400 more then mine! it better fawking take more! haha

Damon you need to update your sig. A lot of your build i different. I havent hooked up my zv4 and I hope to god my surrounds don't have this issue but I was on the first preorder. I will be pissed if I have to send them back.
