no mod.. not my sub... "My sub".another ct exo 15 has been running on 6k since it hit the states. i wish i had a 6k amp! if i didn't need a alt so bad i would either buy another 1400.1 or sell mine and get a ddm3 or something

I have yet to see any videos of a single exo on 6k rms, i see many multiple sub setups with a few 7k's on 9-exo 15's but nothing taking a 6k rms amp. Its only a matter of time with that much power on any sub will fail. Thats why the exo had a v1 and v2 b4 they were even released....rated at 2k rms...they were failing with 3k bc the softparts were weak. Just like any sub that comes out usually there are revised versions that are made with the proper improvements. I just dont see the exo taking 6krms on the daily....dude actually there isnt any subs out right now other than the Nightshade that would prolly take it 3" or 4" vc dont matter....Maybe the Tantric SHD would take it....and the 2,000$ DD Z9918 but man we are talking daily...thats a fuck load of power. My DD m4 pushed my Zv4 18 to the limits....even got all the glue nice and warm and coil but never burned it...but ill tell ya what, ill bet that 5k would eventually have taken the toll on that Zv4 18 and smoked it. You gotta understand just bc a sub can "take" a billion jigga watts doesnt mean it will for any long period of time. I am familiar with "over powering" subs but for the exo to take 4k rms more than what its rated for i think is a long stretch. If the sub was in the league of 1,000$+ subs then they would have rated it accordingly like 5k rms

and theres another ct 4000.1 @.5
i know the box rise and shit.. that and you can have the power and not use it.
I still haven't heard one fail yet. and the old EXO v1s look just like the new meso subs. almost identical

and to be.clear I'm talking about rated amp power not clamped power.
most of the time when you.ask someone about there amp.they give you what the company tells you not what its really doing. so with that ct and dc its getting anywhere between 3499-5999w
never seen any of them clamped

Damon you need to update your sig. A lot of your build i different. I havent hooked up my zv4 and I hope to god my surrounds don't have this issue but I was on the first preorder. I will be pissed if I have to send them back. howis it working ........ interesting its.!! |
