Just some more small updates.. nothing major. Im doing more work on the amp rack. The top will hold my 4ch and the bottom will hold my mono block. I also finished cutting out the holes for my ports..

Jamie (Wicks) on SMD with the beautiful E46 M3 and I did a "bit" of talking.. and he helped me decide on a finish for my amp rack, dash trim (you'll see), beauty panels around box, and possibly sub baffle. I saw a charcoal option. However, rather than worrying about the adhesive and fibers being too light or dark, i just got black. I know it'll look good.

So.. I have 2 stores within a 30 min radius that carry Evercoat products. However, they both closed yesterday at 4 and are closed today. I need the filler for tonight. My choices were either get raped by buying Bondo, or trying this for like 1/2 the price. I picked this up from NAPA. I know, its lightweight.. so its prone to a bit of pinholes. Ill try to control that by mixing. BUT if it does have a couple, thats perfectly fine.. and heres why.. Im flocking. The flocking adhesive tends to fill out SMALL imperfections. Expect updates tonight

Yea buddy you flocked your box.....now we can play poker on it too. I was going to do the green to my box. Looks good. LOL.. yup.. Its not wrapped in vinyl like I originally planned, but I LOVE this. You should do green! Its easy, cheap, not too messy (easy to clean up anyway), and looks great! So, I picked up my car today. The odd clutch pressure issue was my bad clutch master cylinder. The guys replaced it, added new fluid, and bled that. My only compliant is that they I didnt have ANY clutch free play. Mitsubishi's Technical Service Book calls for .2 - .5" of free play. So.. I adjusted that as soon as i got home and went for a test drive. Damn, its like Im driving a new car. It reminds me of when I got my clutch replaced hahah.. Its gonna take some time to get used to.. :peepwall: Now, I had to touch up on the amp rack in one area. I applied flock a BIT too thin.. but the sub baffle is good :good: This shows the texture.. ..and mocked up.. Of course ill add trim panels. Idk when bc were moving.. but i will :good:

Love the looks of that. Where you pick it up from? FlockIt.com I did most of the bracing today.. I also took the amp rack out in the sun, and mounted the 4ch.. along with ran some wire to it. I need to run to HD tomm to get proper bolts for it. Im also toying around with spots to mount the 3Sixty. Obviously the mono block will me mounted in the big, empty spot. Whats going on here??

Thank you! Up: Down:  Still need to make beauty panels.. but heres how the hatch is for now.. I was going strong, and planning on finishing today. All was fine, until i saw the mistake i made.. The elbows. One one end of each is wide.. I need both to be wide. Oh well. All thats left is getting/wiring/tuning the mono block, cutting and bonding aero ports, buying/installing XP2000 Batt, and hooking up all the power/grounds/remote. Of course trim panels are on the list too.. but they'll wait

Alright.. I PL Premium'd my baffle today with the 8x stuff. I got most of it done, but i ran out. i need to finish the baffle and bracing tomm. I also started cutting the ports. Looks like Ill be able to tune in the high 33s - low 34hz range. That SHOULD be good. I wouldve preferred a bit smaller, but its all about what i can fit  Ohh.. i took this pic today on my drive in to work
