Hey guys, same bumpinTL364 for steve's forum. Just wanted to say hi and that so far I've only really done an install for my girl's 2005 volvo s40. It was one hell of a bitch to work on and find the right parts for, but in the end I've replaced all the speakers in the door, added a soundqubed hds212 and RE 3200.1. Next year I'll be getting my own ride (2007 Acura TL, hence the username) and plan on using it as a tool to learn fiberglassing, interior wiring and fabrication, and all other tricks of the trade. I'm excited to see everyone who shows up at the meet tomorrow and help out new members as best I can. I live outside of Boston but am in the 518 area to attend Union College and a mechanical engineering major. Peace!

welcome man! glad to see you showing some love. can't wait to hear the sq subs. and i feel you on working on volvos! they flat out suck! one of our more shy members aos concepts is really good with fiber glass and paint. I'm a bit of a self taught expert with wiring. 100+ installs (prolly closer to 200) will do that tho. been installing since i was 13/14 you ever need help I'm a Lil bit of a hike from you but there's almost nothing we can't get done on a Saturday!
well again welcome and it gives me great pleasure to say this, I'LL SEE YOU TOMORROW!

Thanks guys. Sub is actually just a single HDS212 in a box I made many moons ago and has been since falling apart (duct tape seals inside, water damage from sitting in my basement) so a new one is still in the works. I have all the mdf mostly cut, just need to find time (and if anyone has a fricken table saw I swear to god I will make my girlfriend entertain you so I can use it. I can't believe I'm at a college that doesn't have a goddamn table saw). Oh and aj, all I really have to do is build the box, run the remote wire to the fuse box up front (right now it's ghetto-rigged into the 12v cigarette lighter in the back) and drill the necessary holes in the spare cover/trunk floor to make everything all purdy. Help would definitely be appreciated and supplemented with a few cold ones though! Cheers guys, see you tomorrow!
EDIT: Just thought of this modfreak: how about a function for the forum that keeps you logged in? Just a thought, and the website is looking bitchin' for the amount of time you've put into it!

sweet guys thanks, especially for that DD-1 tune! Sounds real good for such a shit box and being only an HDS212 on 1200watts…damn glad to have met you all and hopefully the next meet is somewhere close so I'll have the iPod integration unit hooked up and everything all pretty!
