Aj yea 2-4" aeros give more port area than one 6" aero. I was able to tune lower being the size of my box. I couldn't use a 6" bc it would have needed to be longer than the box was deep.

It gets down like a bastard. I actually think it sounds better than my DC, it digs deeper with those 10" spiders and massive surround gives more xmax

i didn't want to say anything. i don't like comparing brands..ect. but i like sundown more then dc. I'm not saying one is better or anything. but sundown subs have always impressed me more. both have there pros but if i would get in the sundown car first. its kinda like a sti or evo... pretty much the same thing. both are fast allwd turbo 4cylinders but i would always walk to the Subaru first. i think its the surrounds on sundown subs that make Me love them. again I'm not saying one is better i have no interest in starting a debate.

Yea I think my DC XL may have metered better but it was too peaky of a sub....it liked the above 35hz stuff still even being tuned at 30hz. Where as this x12 is tuned same at 30hz....it kills the DC with the low end output. That's the fun with messing with different stuff you find out what your favorite combo is. I think I'm going to get aDv4 12 d1 and wire my amp at .5ohm and let 3k rip on a 12 lol

I'm still trying to figure out where my sub is loudest at. its between 28 and 34hz those seem to be the highest amount of force. the 34hz is louder to the ear. but 28 is loudest to your body. I'm sure the 34 will meter better. but I'm saying as far as to demo with... i think 28 takes the cake. oh and i was tweaking some stuff today and realized something i Cant believe i overlooked. the last time we all meet up.. almost 4 weeks ago now we tuned my ampwith a dd1. since then my sub has been playing from22hz to the upper 40s with authority. well i just realized that my lpf was all the way down at 35hz! WHAT!? well now its up in the 60hz area and i can't believe how high this thing plays! for a 30hz tune box it has the upper spl in it. I'm amazed! next box I'm going bigger... and lower!
