without my singer alt yea I'll.have drop. i do In park but I'm.getting maybe 50amps from my alt. but rms really doesn't do anything for music. the hz is constantly changing. I've had this discussion many times before. And imo the clamp don't mean nada, its all about the term lab!
nothing but love man! it actually makes me Happy to be able to discussthings like This with people. most have no idea what I'm talking about! haha. this is how we learn grow and get louder! I love debating stuff. i really Do. it's Just how i am. were both right, because in the audio world it's all relevant!

This 1400.1 was clamped on a 16v system wired to .82ohm....He dropped 2 volts as he even stated down to 14.7v so yes he got 1800rms but starting at 16v!!! Are you starting to see what I'm saying? He also has a 8battery bank and still had some voltage drop. This is why I'm telling you that you are not going to get what you think you are for power. Not tying to argue with you but be factual. This guy's setup is stacked with a wall also and super stout electrical much more so than ures. You Will have voltage drop and on 14v and under your amp may be lucky to do 1400....these amps aren't rated at "12v" either. They are 14.4v like the standard

My thing is I hate to see people get stuff thinking it's the end all be all and it's super under rated in power and then they get to testing and get disappointed bc they got what the product was rated to do. Then turn around and bash or hate a f mpany bc you were thinking it's a super performer. I'm not afraid to meter up either  but don't get upset if a little 12 on 2.5-3k is louder  . And na I had to reschedule meeting with the guy bc stuff came up today. I'm wondering if I even need a 3.5k tho....bc if I just got another x12 then I'd be able to wire my amp down low. |

You are right about the meter....but clamping power is a real world scenario. Wouldn't it be badass to say hey I'm doing a 148-149 but on a clamped 2200rms amount of power? Not be like well I'm almost at 4k rms and at a 146. I was running a 148.6 at 32hz on 2800rms clamped power.....that's impressive. I was at a 148.2 with DD m4 and Zv418 at 30hz....bc I'll be the first to say, man it's hard to meter high being a ground pounder. My peak was almost a 149 at 34-36hz

believe me i know I'm not gonna get the full 3600w from them. i know that. but personally i don't give a damn about rms. never have never will. all i want to be is impressive. which for 1 15 on 1100w (rms ; ) it is!
and yes they are rated at 12v
when Steve dyno it it did a Lil over 1400w at 12 and 1800w at 14.
i.understand that's not to a sub but thats how every other comp does it. allct is a 12volt rating Just like dd

but for real i don't care if they do 20w. i wanted a nice looking impressive system that i can go full tilt as long as i want. I'm not chasing numbers or competing. 99% of the time I'm all by.myself in my car jamming out. that's why i spent all this Money. not for numbers for me. and because i enjoy doing it. but how loud my sub is right now is impressive, because it's not moving! at all! Maybe 6mm of excursion is being used. it's amazing the air that thing moves by not doing much of anything

. I'm in it for the low end stuff and for my pleasure. Would it be badass to get a 150 sure...but it's not what I'm about. But it is a goal lol I'll get it someday. And Aj I don't know why but the vids aren't working for me?

my sub is slamming the lows! what Gucci is kinda crazy in my car. but i would rather hit a 130 at 30hz Then a 160 at 66hz. i can play (brutal) down to 24hz and play with authority to the mid 40hz ish area. I'm sure if i tuned.to the moon i could get a high number... but to me thats Just dumb!
love the kids that are all cocky cuz they do 150s with 2 12s. they always leave out that it's around 60hz. and they cant come close to paying low.
anything past 45hz is just annoying!

dude that amp plays from 10hz to 240hz And is 1ohm stable. i was gonna say a amp that can't play below 40hz.... never heard of such a thing!

ok my build is finally coming along nicely... almost at the "finish" line. I'll always add and tweak and.stuff but the main.stuff is almost done.
but I'm having a trouble deciding what i want to get next.
i need, new front stage, deadner,alt, and mids for a rear stage (thinking about a decent set of 8s maybe pvr) i have the dough for any one thing except for the alt..but that money is coming.
what should i buy?
front,rear or deadner?
make up my mind for me!
